This type of business also takes a huge role of helping as a side job to pay our bills because of the expenses that has risen since most of us are staying at home. But this type of business and shopping holds it's own consequences with trolls; bogus buyers and fake businesses. A lot of these came from the roots of pranking and intention of stealing your money and/or information.
On the latest news of this topic, a few of them surrounds on a certain prank that has been repeated a couple of times during the pandemic in our country.
Since COVID-19's outbreak motorcycle courier rides have been titled as one of our heroes during this stay-at-home situation, delivering what we have ordered to our doorsteps. And because some services allow Cash On Delivery (also known as COD) unfortunately these delivery workers have become a target for scammers by pranking them. In this so-called "prank", these trolls have created a fake account where they link an address, either non existing or to an unaware residence to confuse both victims. Most of them would even order items with an insane amount of total price.
While this may seem entertaining for the trolls, it is a huge worry for the worker as they now have to pay for the package themselves from their own pocket.
